About us!

Hi,
my name is Gabriel (but friends call me Gab) and I am the main contributor to Effective Water Fitness. I am a certified swimming instructor, trainer and lifeguard. Until few years back I have also been a swimmer competing internationally.

I have designed Effective Water Fitness to be your resource for the best information and suggestions regarding  water fitness equipment and workouts, swimming pool training exercises, rehabilitation routines  and all there is for getting the best and the most out of your training in the pool.

Effective Water Fitness focuses only on well researched, tested and accurate water fitness tips and tricks and product reviews to get your effort the reward it deserves. In our pages you will find nothing but the most effective ways to keep exercising while pregnant, lose weight with water exercises, shape up and keep in shape with the right fitness equipment.

Interval Training with Gymboss

For your interval training use the Gymboss Interval Timer and keep your focus only on the exercise, not on your clock.

Tabata Jogging:

set your first Gymboss Interval Timer time interval to 20 secs; set your second Gymboss time interval to 20 secs push start and start improving your anaerobic fitness level.

Swimming interval training:

Select one Gymboss Interval Timer time interval option and set the time to your repetition time. Choose the number of repetitions per set and start swimming.

My sets: 10X100m at 90 secs 20X50m at 40 secs
